CES Las Vegas 2025
AI, Everywhere, Everytime, For everyone
Back from CES 2025 in Las Vegas, the impact of AI is more palpable than ever. This year, under the theme “AI, Everywhere, Everytime, For everyone”, exaggeration seems absent.
Each company present unveiled its vision of the future, offering a fascinating insight into the aspirations of engineers. This is what CES is all about: giving a voice to the visionaries of science.
From startups to major brands, all the players present demonstrated how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing their sector - healthcare, robotics, automobiles, televisions...
Between these avant-garde visions lies a future dominated by AI. In Las Vegas, and more widely on the West Coast, the term 'AI' is giving way to 'AGI' - Artificial General Intelligence. According to OpenAI, AGI is technology capable of performing economically useful tasks, or, in other words, AI that generates profits. Although some limit AGI to human capabilities, one figure stands out: today, an AI can do in 90 seconds what a human can do in 5 hours. This year, this performance could increase tenfold: an AI could do in 90 seconds what a human could do in 5 months.
One of the biggest trends is robotics. AI transcends screens to integrate the physical world in the form of robot assistants, transforming every aspect of our daily and professional lives. Sony has even integrated it into Afeela, a car developed jointly with Honda.
CES is not just a showcase for high-tech and futuristic ambitions. It also showcases innovations that straddle the line between the everyday and the extraordinary. Imagine a spoon capable of amplifying the salty taste of food, or a grill equipped with AI that perfectly adjusts the cooking of each piece of meat according to the preferences of its users. Yes, we're there.
In the field of healthcare, advances are both astonishing and pragmatic. AI systems are diagnosing - and more importantly, preventing - diseases with unprecedented accuracy, while personal monitoring devices are anticipating heart attacks before they happen, ready to radically transform our approach to healthcare.
At Inox, we recognize that the challenges posed by AI are less about technology and more about leadership and management. We are ready to integrate these innovations responsibly and effectively, actively shaping the future.
